We started off by walking round the Imperial War museum, using 10 pieces of a4 paper to draw images of things that had an element of typography. I found the day very productive, producing a number of quality images. The science museum I found easier as the brief was to do with movement, such as axels motion and kinetics. After the observation we were told to put our work up on the walls for tutor analysis, to see how we can incorporate the images into souvenirs.
My first initial thought was to create a slide game but in 3D and make a prototype using card. At first I did a tester and created a small version to see whether it worked. I thought of this idea using my images from the imperial war museum and add them to each side of the blocks of my slidy game. That way it is easier to just photocopy the images and use them instead of creating new ones.
My second initial idea (with the time I had) I created a poster in which I incorporated the drawings and moulded them into different vehicles as a kind of fun imagery effect, aimed at children. So far I have only done an idea of a plane in motion on the poster, its very simple but I hope to work on it more in the near future. I could a whole range of posters: Cars, Boats, and Rocket ships etc.
